UI Developer (Web Hooks+Bigcommerce)

Job description

Must have skills:

• A minimum 3 years’ experience developing on the Bigcommerce including:


• Good understanding of functionalities and features provided by Bigcommerce.


• Experience in implementing Bigcommerce websites using Cornerstone or other derived themes.


• Experience with integrating Bigcommerce with Third Party apps and integrations available in Bigcommerce Marketplace.


• Strong knowledge of Stencil and Handlebar template language


• Strong hands-on experience in customizing Bigcommerce themes.


• Experience in customizing Bigcommerce Checkout.


• Knowledge in technologies such as NodeJS frameworks like ExpressJs or Nextjs or Remix, PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Jquery etc.


• Experience with implementing/debugging Bigcommerce apps as well as creating custom extensions.


• Experience with Bigcommerce's Stencil objects and properties, REST APIs, GraphQL API and webhooks


• Clear Understanding on Bigcommerce concepts


• Experience in addressing quality/security issues in Nodejs/PHP code


• Good exposure towards test-driven development while using the industry best practices with an ability to write new test suites


• Proficient in co-coordinating with teams and clients across different time zones.


• Overall, 7 to 12 Years of IT experience.


• Desirable Experience & Knowledge


• Minimum 2 years experience on Big commerce projects


• Minimum 2 implementations of BigCommerce


• Good experience in using Cornerstone or other derived themes & integration experience of Big commerce with other Systems


• Knowledge in other ecommerce platforms like Magento, Shopify, Commercetools, Woocommerce, Prestashop, Spryker etc will be preferred.


• Knowledge in technologies such as Vue.js, React.js, Remix, Nextjs for creating apps.


• Bigcommerce Certification
