Roles and responsibilities 1. Credit Underwriting Credit Assessment Review and analyse Personal loan applications to determine the creditworthiness of Assess financial statements, credit reports, cash flow projections, and other relevant documents to evaluate the applicant's ability to repay the loan. Risk Analysis: Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with each loan Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommend appropriate terms and conditions for approved Monitor and manage credit exposure, ensuring alignment with the organization's risk Make informed and timely decisions regarding loan approvals, declines, and counter-offers. Collaborate with risk, tech teams to present and justify credit decisions, tech bugs3. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit risk Propose process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of credit assessment4. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on credit portfolio performance, delinquencies, and risk exposure for management Desired Candidate Profile: 1-2 Years of experience Underwriter, Secured/unsecured loans, Excel, Basic SQL Experience in developing lending, customer acquisitions and portfolio management strategies
