Roles and responsibilities
1. Credit Underwriting.
● Credit Assessment
● Review and analyse Personal loan applications to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
● Assessfinancialstatements, credit reports, cash flow projections, and other relevant documentsto
evaluate the applicant's ability to repay the loan.
● Utilize credit scoring models and loan strategiesto make informed credit decisions.
2.Risk Analysis:
● Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with each loan application.
● Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommend appropriate terms and conditionsfor approved
loans.
● Monitor and manage credit exposure, ensuring alignment with the organization's risk tolerance.
● Make informed and timely decisionsregarding loan approvals, declines, and counter-offers.
● Collaborate with risk, tech teamsto present and justify credit decisions, tech bugs.
3. ContinuousImprovement:
● Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit risk assessment.
● Propose processimprovements and contribute to the enhancement of credit assessment
procedures.
4.Reporting:
● Prepare regular reports on credit portfolio performance, delinquencies, and risk exposure for
management review.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 1-2 Years of experience
- Underwriter, Secured/unsecured loans, Excel, Basic SQL
- Experience in developing lending, customer acquisitions and portfolio management
strategies
