Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
   
   
   
   • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
   
   
   • Coordinate with the planning team to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
   
   
   
   


2. Quality Assurance:
   
   
   
   • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure seating systems meet or exceed industry standards.
   
   
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.
   
   
   
   


3. Process Optimization:
   
   
   
   • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.
   
   
   • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
   
   
   
   


4. Supervision and Team Management:
   
   
   
   • Lead and manage production staff, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
   
   
   • Ensure a safe and productive working environment for all team members.
   
   
   
   


5. Inventory Management:
   
   
   
   • Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet production demands.
   
   
   • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and losses.
   
   
   
   


6. Equipment Maintenance:
   
   
   
   • Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that production equipment is well-maintained and operating efficiently.
   
   
   • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance activities.
   
   
   
   


7. Cost Control:
   
   
   
   • Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
   
   
   • Contribute to budgeting and financial planning processes.
   
   
   
   


8. Documentation and Reporting:
   
   
   
   • Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality control data, and inventory records.
   
   
   • Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance and key metrics.
   
   
   
   


9. Communication:
   
   
   
   • Foster effective communication between different departments, including production, planning, quality control, and maintenance.
