Role Responsibilities
▪ Responsible for overall performance of the Studio – Business performance, Operational excellence, People & Process related
matters.
▪ Business performance – Achieve and exceed targets for key metrics – footfalls, conversions, sales, modular business as
applicable, outbound and B2B business as applicable, channel partner and design partner business as applicable, buy on phone
etc.
▪ Personally, contribute in an outsized proportion to target achievement of the Studio via intensive key customer/partner facing
interactions.
▪ Operational excellence – Ensure that key operational elements are executed perfectly – opening, closing, attendance, projects
etc. Oversee and actively manage the aspects of Studio Administration – upkeep, maintenance, oversight of housekeeping staff,
studio budgets (petty cash, consumables, amenities etc.), keep clean records of expenses in an approved manner etc.
▪ People – Manage team actively, monitor performance, provide coaching for correction and development, maintainand improve
morale of the team by helping them to grow as professionals and also achieving their immediate short-term business goals.
▪ Actively build skills in team members across – product knowledge, sales process knowledge. Do this both directlyand by taking
help from central resources, merchants etc.
▪ Follow due process with high adherence and integrity – recording data, managing people and their development, interactions
with customers and partners.
▪ Co-ordinate with Activation leadership and central teams to facilitate and align with on key projects including –
inventory audit and maintenance (core responsibility), projects involving fixed assets and visual merchandise etc.
▪ Provide regular and special updates/reports of the business performance, issues, competitive and marketintelligence etc. to Area
Manager and leadership
▪ Make plans for in-store and local activities – events/initiatives to promote Studio in the catchment. Be the point person for such
activities that are driven centrally too.
▪ Take ownership for customer satisfaction for all in-store and associated, off-store, activities.
