Sales Manager – Ceramics and Sanitaryware Store
Location - Jabalpur (M.P.)
Salary – 3-4 Lakhs/Annum + Incentives
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to
achieve revenue targets, drive business growth, and maintain excellent
customer relationships. This role involves developing and implementing
effective sales strategies, coaching and mentoring the sales team, and
collaborating with other departments to ensure overall organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational
goals and revenue targets.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to
identify opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with the leadership team to align sales strategies with overall
business objectives.
2. Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Set clear performance expectations and goals for the team members.
Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to ensure continuous
improvement.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
3. Sales Operations:
Oversee day-to-day sales operations and activities.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for
improvement.
Implement effective sales processes and systems to streamline
operations.
Manage the sales budget and allocate resources efficiently.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues
promptly.
Collaborate with the customer support team to enhance overall customer
experience.
5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Develop accurate sales forecasts and report on sales performance
regularly.
Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data and market
trends.
Prepare and present reports to the executive team.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a coordinated
approach to sales and customer service.
Represent the company at industry events and build a network of
business contacts.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of meeting or
exceeding targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Knowledge of sales techniques, market analysis, and customer relationship
management.
Proficient in using sales and CRM software.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
