Job description

Key Responsibilities:



  1. Warehouse Operations Management:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

    • Implement and enforce efficient warehouse processes to maximize productivity and minimize errors.

    • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation.



  2. Team Leadership:

    • Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the warehouse team.



  3. Inventory Control:

    • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.

    • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories as needed.



  4. Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

    • Implement and monitor safety procedures to create a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.



  5. Equipment and Facility Maintenance:

    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.

    • Coordinate with relevant teams to address facility maintenance needs promptly.



  6. Communication and Coordination:

    • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to streamline overall supply chain processes.

    • Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and other external partners.



  7. Performance Analysis and Reporting:

    • Analyze warehouse performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.

    • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.



  8. Cost Management:

    • Monitor and control warehouse operational costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising efficiency.
