Job Requirements: Managing Azure PaaS / IaaS components (Virtual Machine, Virtual Network, Storage, LoadBalancers, Availability Sets, containers, webapp, SQL dbs etc.) Provisioning/de-provisioning Azure VM’s, Starting/stopping VM’s. Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu/Red Hat) Cloud Platform: Azure. Configuration of VM’s, disk/network/size. Checking health state of components. Set up and configure SSO solutions using Azure AD for cloud applications (e.g., Office 365,Azure Portal). Integrate Azure AD with third-party identity providers using federation (e.g., ADFS). Create and manage user accounts, groups, and roles in Azure AD. Configure role-based access control (RBAC) for Azure resources. Implement self-service password reset and multi-factor authentication (MFA) policies. Design and implement Azure AD solutions for user authentication, authorization, andidentity management. Configure Azure AD Connect to synchronize on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD. Periodically test backup and recovery processes to ensure they work as expected. Conduct disaster recovery drills to validate Azure Site Recovery and backup plans. Adding/removing resources to Load Balancers/Availability Sets/Resource Groups. Azure Storage Management – Adding/removing storage accounts/disks/blobs/virtualdisks/adjusting quotas/disk sizing/attaching/detaching. Provide break-fix and operational support asneeded like snapshot, reboot, IP allocation, instance resizing. Cost management Provide security baselining & provision security measures usingAzure Security Centre and other tools. Creation of Azure Resources and Azure Resource Manager templatesas needed for the environments. Deploy and manage Patching and Azure Config service approved by the client (using AzureUpdate Manager) Fine tuning of Azure Advisor and operational configuration Cloud assessment of servers and applications in the environment Managing software subscriptions and clean-up of unwanted resources DBA activities like performance tuning, build, configuration etc
