Responsibilities: -
Major Tasks & Activities:
• Handling Lounges Audit, Customers audit, and External audit.
• Handle Lounges complaints.
• Responsible for assuring food products and processes meet safety standards imposed as per organizational and regulatory authorities requirements.
• Assist QA Manager/Head with the implementation of food safety regulations compliance, processes, and risk assessments for an organization, and training employees on food safety best practices.
• Conducting training for Lounges, Plant Production, and Maintenance teams on GMP, SSOP, Cleaning, sanitation policies quality, and food safety management system-related topics, internal auditing, Customer Complaint handling, Customer portals, and requirements.
• Collaborate with the plant team to establish and implement preventive controls related to food safety.
• Inspect the plant facilities for compliance with the standards, policies, and food safety regulatory requirements and determine methods to resolve any issues that arise.
• Assistance to Plant team for implementation of wastage reduction, quality and food safety Management system, and continual improvement projects across all lounges in Pan India.
• Escalate the repetitive and long pending issue to Plant QA Head-Pan India.
• Collaborate with the Plant QA team on periodic review of the reports, correction, and corrective action.
• Participate in Weekly/Fortnightly conference calls with Plant for Food Safety and Quality Assurance updates and Quality improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate suppliers’/vendors’ food safety systems; monitor and report on supplier food safety performance on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain the corporate quality manual and quality records.
• Review and report the principal cause of quality loss and non-conformance.
• Supervising and guiding inspectors, technicians, and other staff.
• Review current standards and policies.
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Accountable for:
• Conduct monthly audits with the team[Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Pune, and Bangalore] as per the audit plan, share reports, and get an action plan from the outlet’s team.
• Getting the major outlets audited by an External agency against FSSAI schedule 4 requirements.
• Getting the outlets certified against the FSSAI hygiene rating system.
• Conducting training as per plan related to Food safety, audits, hygiene, and safety.
• Conducting Surprise visits and checking hygiene, FIFO, and expired products.
• Awareness creation and Capacity building related to Quality and Food Safety Management system requirements.
• Training for Sanitation policy, Standards, Check Lists, Procedures
• Conducting or co-ordination with external agencies Performance Audit/3rd party Sanitation Audit/Assessment to Verify Sanitation Practices and performance.
• Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
• Drafting quality assurance policies and procedures and documenting internal audits.
• Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
