UI Lead Developer

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the UI development team.


• Translate high-level business requirements into functional UI components and features.


• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand and clarify requirements.


• Drive the adoption of best practices and standards in UI development.


• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.


• Develop reusable UI components and libraries.


• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.


• Implement and maintain web analytics tracking and reporting.


• Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.


• Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in UI development.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.


• 6+ years of practical experience programming with JavaScript.


• Hands-on experience with current JavaScript framework technologies, preferably React/Angular     and component-driven development.


• Knowledge of web analytics data and data structures.


• Ability to influence and drive technical adoption of analytics products.


• Hands-on experience with UI build technologies such as NPM and Webpack.


• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


• Experience providing long-term strategic solutions to meet audit and regulatory requirements.
