Sr. JAVA BackEnd Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
    Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using industry best practices and
standards.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
    Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
    Write unit tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the codebase.
    Utilize DevOps tools for continuous integration and deployment of Java applications.
    Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
    Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in Java development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
                                                                                                      10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
                                                                                                      Proficiency in Spring framework including Spring Data, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring Integration,
and Spring Social.
    Strong understanding of Webservices, REST services, and event-driven design.
    Experience in developing microservices-based applications.
    Ability to write unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or Power Mock.
    Familiarity with DevOps tools for CI/CD pipelines.
    Knowledge of database technologies such as MSSQL.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
    Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    Certification in Java development or related technologies.
    Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
