We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect and Engineer with 10-15 years of experience in merchant payment system architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex IT solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functioning of these systems. This role requires a deep understanding of payment gateways, chip & pin systems, encryption, and POS deployments. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain payment system architecture, focusing on merchant payment systems. Integrate merchant acquirers and payment gateways into the existing infrastructure. Work closely with the development team in designing and implementing API's for merchant acquirers. Oversee the deployment and troubleshooting of POS systems, ensuring smooth operations. Ensure all systems and processes are compliant with industry standards, such as PCI. Actively participate in the full SDLC – requirements gathering, system design, development, production support, DevOps, root cause analysis, defect resolution, etc. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to senior architects, technical managers and non-technical stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Requirements: 10-15 years of experience in merchant payment system architecture. Proven experience with integrating merchant acquirers and payment gateways. Strong knowledge of merchant acquirer API’s. Hands-on experience with Chip & Pin systems, Point of Sale, Tokenization, Encryption. Proven experience with POS deployments and troubleshooting. Familiarity with payments industry standards (PCI, etc.) Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior architects and technical managers. Experience with full SDLC – requirements, system design, development, production support, DevOps, root cause analysis, defect resolution, etc. Skill Requirement: Should have worked on Springboot and Java Minimum 3 years’ experience in payment System Should be able to articulate properly in front of client. Should have prior exposure as an architect. Desirable Skills: Experience with Springboot, Java stack.
