Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and cooking of traditional Indian dishes under the supervision of senior kitchen staff. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations. Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food products to ensure freshness and quality. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Learn and apply proper techniques for handling spices, herbs, and other Indian ingredients. Assist in inventory management and stock rotation as directed by the Chef.
