Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and assembly of a variety of dim sum dishes, including dumplings, buns, and rolls. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation. Work closely with senior kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate execution of dim sum orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dim sum station, including equipment and work areas. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of ingredients and hygiene practices. Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering of dim sum ingredients. Learn and apply proper techniques for shaping, filling, and cooking dim sum items. Requirements: Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably with exposure to dim sum preparation. Basic knowledge of Chinese cuisine and dim sum cooking techniques is preferred. Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
