Job description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various continental dishes, including but not limited to European, American, and Mediterranean cuisines.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation of continental dishes.
- Work closely with senior kitchen staff to ensure efficient execution of orders and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the continental cuisine section, including equipment and work areas.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of ingredients and hygiene practices.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering of continental cuisine ingredients.
- Learn and apply proper cooking techniques and flavor combinations unique to continental cuisine.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, with exposure to continental cuisine preferred.
- Basic knowledge of continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions.
