Designation: Mining Engineer Experience: 2 years in the construction and mining industry and at sites
Duties & Responsibilities:
While the specific responsibilities of Mining Engineers at DCS Limited may vary depending on the project and their experience level, some general roles and responsibilities include:
Operational tasks:
 Planning and execution of mining activities: This involves tasks like face dressing, roof bolting, drilling and blasting, and loading of mined materials.
 Monitoring and supervision: Overseeing development and production activities to ensure they adhere to the plan and safety protocols.
 Equipment management: Operating and maintaining heavy machinery like LHDs, drill jumbos, and mine trucks for efficient ore transportation.
 Reporting: Maintaining daily reports on development, production, and equipment utilization.
 Logistics: Ensuring proper arrangement of loading and unloading of minerals.
Safety and compliance:
 Implementing and adhering to strict safety protocols: This includes following standard operating procedures (SOPs) while using equipment and maintaining situational awareness to prevent accidents and injuries.
 Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations: Staying updated on and adhering to mining regulations and safety standards.
Additional responsibilities:
 Liaising with clients: Discussing productivity and safety measures with clients.
 Data analysis: Monitoring and analyzing mining costs and equipment productivity.
 Project planning and support: Contributing to project planning activities like inventory management and general safety management.
Skills
• Qualification: Graduate Engineer
• 1)Should have a valid Mining license in metal mines (Unrestricted only)
• or Coal Mines (Unrestricted only) • 2) Well-versed with Autocad work knowledge & Google Spreadsheet
• Communication skills in English and Hindi.
