Job description
As the Product Sales Manager for FRP Walkway, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. You will leverage your expertise in sales, marketing, and product management to identify opportunities, cultivate relationships with key clients, and drive product adoption in target markets. This role requires a results-oriented individual with strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for the FRP Walkway product line.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments, and develop tailored sales plans to penetrate and expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including contractors, distributors, and end-users, to drive sales and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and make recommendations for product enhancements and market positioning.
- Lead sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with clients to secure contracts and achieve sales goals.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for senior management to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements to anticipate market changes and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to sales team members to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and performance.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the FRP Walkway product line and expand the company's network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably in the industrial or construction sector.
- Demonstrated experience in product management, including market analysis, product positioning, and life-cycle management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
