Job description for the Accounts Department

 Designation: Executive Accoutant

Reports to: Accounts Manager

Role: To ensure adherence to company policy and procedures and follow the internal control procedures. Supporting the accounting department, accountant, and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing reports, and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties for the company.

 Desired Skills & Traits:  Strong desire to set standards and improve upon and support best practices in all facets of the business.

  A professional and capable accountant with positive attitude; and excellent judgment and problem-solving skills to align systems and processes to outcomes.

  A strong desire to succeed in achieving results.

  Experience reporting to executives and/or owners.

  Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey important information to executive team and owner.

 Key Responsibilities include:

  All types of Payments and Booking in Tally (party payments / labour payments / purchases)

 Assisting in MIS reports

 Daily Winery reports / Dispatch data updating

  VAT returns / TCS returns / ST returns – periodically

  Bank payments and Voucher booking / JV booking

  Vineyard expense booking

  Admin jobs

  Month end activities like Provisioning, prepared expenses, GL scrutiny.

 Retail cash handling, Imprest amount handling.

 Integrity of financial data and the reporting of that data.

  Accurate and timely reporting and efficient processing In addition to the above you would also be responsible for any other job assigned by your superiors from time to time.
