Job description

Handling day-to-day operations for the smooth functioning & managing the highly automated production line for achieving the periodic production targets.

v       Executing production activities to ensure optimum utilization of manpower & machines.

v       Imparting continuous on the job training to the workforce for enhancing their production, productivity, quality & operational efficiencies through knowledge sharing, knowledge enhancement , skill building & team building.

v       To control and co-ordinate the entire operation of the shifts.

v       To maintain quality of the product.

v       Continuous improvement throughout kaizen project on productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, moral and environment.

v       To plan the availability of machines/ fixtures to concern department for preventive/ periodic maintenance.

v       To ensure that the product/ process parameters are maintained strictly to meet the required finish product specification and First time right (FTR) as per control plan .

v       Authorized to stop production to correct quality problem.

v       Making Daily Production plan, Monthly Production Plan with PPC Dept.

v       Preparing Production OEE and daily production Trend Chart.

v       Reporting to AGM Production & handling the team of 8 Engineers & 160 associates.

v       Ensuring the on time delivery for customer delight. Interacting with client and marketing dept.

v       First of Inspection (FOI), Middle of Inspection (MOI), Last of Inspection (LOI), in all Critical operation and daily updating of “4M” Board.

v       Planning and directing all manufacturing operations so as to make the production schedules meet the organizational targets and the minimize waste and scrap during production.

v       To implement the quality related action discussed.

v       To interact with all related departments during shifts.

v       To maintain house keeping of the facilities under department control.

v       To maintain the records of the related section.
