Senior Executive/Manager - Logistics

Job description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Logistics Coordination:  Coordinate the transportation and distribution of print materials, marketing collateral, and promotional products to various client locations.  Work with logistics partners (carriers, couriers, etc.) to schedule deliveries and ensure timely arrivals. 2. Inventory Management:  Maintain accurate inventory records for all print materials and supplies.  Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to avoid shortages. 3. Supply Chain Optimization:  Analyse supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improvement.  Implement cost-effective logistics strategies to reduce transportation costs and delivery times.  Collaborate with vendors to streamline procurement processes, pickups, delivery etc. 4. Documentation and Reporting:  Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics expenses.  Generate regular reports on logistics performance and inventory status for management review.  Generate DCs, E-way bills, Manifest and other required documents for transportation  Daily checking the MIS from different courier partners and make a consolidated MIS.  Track the long pending cases and reduce the RTO 5. Client Liaison:  Daily MIS to client with update on delivery.  Communicate with clients to understand their logistics and delivery requirements.  Address any logistics-related inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. 6. Cost Management:  Monitor logistics expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.  Negotiate favourable contracts with logistics providers and suppliers.  Exploring new vendors for cost improvement.  Ensure compliance with all relevant reguations. 7. Team Collaboration:  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
