Job Description: Acting as the first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments. booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation organising events and conferences reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence Key role in assisting the Director in performing his day to day activities, the responsibilities shall include; Calendar management. Management of important files, data and information. Travel Management. Scrutiny of information/documents before necessary approval from Director Management of meetings and preparation of minutes of the meeting. Coordinate with Senior Executives for conferences and internal events. Manage mails and communication on behalf of the Chairman. Any other function that is incidental to the position. Requisites & Qualification: The candidate should be talented, self-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, having a positive approach. Command on written and spoken English. Conversant in handling the social media on behalf of the chairman e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook etc. Excellent administration and secretarial skills. Decision-making ability in the absence of the Chairman and otherwise. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint application capable of preparing the requisite documentation and communications independently based on briefs.
