Responsibilities for safety supervisor

1. Audit facility practices and records periodically to ensure compliance with company programs and state/federal occupational safety/health regulations
2. Ensure compliance with the Hazards Communication Program, Emergency Action Plan, Fire Prevention Plan, Confined Space Entry Program, Trenching and Excavation Program, and any other programs required by OSHA and the Corporate Safety, Health and Environment Department
3. Conduct Safety Training, , CPR/1st Aid/Competent Person/OSHA Courses/Job Briefing Procedures
4. Keep the hotel in compliance with laws and legislations of the country
5. Report any hazards found during tours and checks
6. Make sure the hotel complies with audits and company requirements
7. Advise employees of safety importance and job related hazards
8. Check compliance of safety equipment usage and safety policies application
9. Report and review accidents/incidents/near miss investigations to determine the root cause and make recommendations for action plan to minimize or eliminate future safety risks
10. Monitor upcoming construction tasks and phases and assist job-site supervision
