8) Ensure all import documentation is accurate and complete, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

9) Manage customs clearance processes to prevent delays.

10) Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and standards.

11) Stay updated on changes in import/export laws and regulations affecting lithium-ion battery components.

12) Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and documentation.

13) Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of components for production.

14) Work closely with the inventory management team to forecast demand and plan purchases accordingly.

15) Coordinate with shipping and logistics companies to arrange the transportation of goods.

16) Track shipments and address any issues that arise during transit.

17) Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

18) Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market conditions.

19) Analyse data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
