Job Description:


Roles and responsibilities -  Experiential Learning Programs: Develop, implement, and manage experientiallearning programs, such as internships, cooperative education, practicums, fieldplacements. This involves establishing partnerships with employers, organizingplacements, and ensuring a meaningful learning experience for students.➢ Career Counselling and Guidance: Provide career counselling services to students,helping them explore career options, identify their interests and strengths, and makeinformed decisions about their professional paths. Assist students with resumewriting, interview preparation, job search strategies, and networking skills.➢ Industry Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with employers, industryprofessionals, and alumni to create job and internship opportunities for students.Collaborate with employers to understand their hiring needs and communicate theseopportunities to students.➢ Job and Internship Placement: Facilitate the placement process by connectingstudents with appropriate job and internship opportunities. This involves maintaininga job board, coordinating recruitment events such as career fairs and on-campusinterviews, and assisting students with application processes.➢ Professional Development Workshops: Organize and conduct workshops andseminars to enhance students' professional skills, including topics like resumewriting, interview techniques, networking, job search strategies, and workplaceetiquette. Provide guidance on professional development resources, such as onlinecourses, certifications, and workshops.➢ Alumni Engagement: Engage with alumni to foster mentorship programs, alumninetworking events, and guest speaker series. Leverage the experiences andexpertise of alumni to provide valuable insights and guidance to current students.➢ Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student placements,internship experiences, and career outcomes. Generate reports and analyze data toassess the effectiveness of career services programs, identify trends, and makedata-driven improvements.➢ Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with faculty, academic departments,student organizations, and other campus units to integrate experiential learning andcareer development opportunities into the curriculum. Work as a team to supportstudents' overall success and collaborate on campus-wide initiatives.➢ Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, labor market demands, and changesin recruitment practices to provide relevant and up-to-date career advice to students.Attend professional development conferences, workshops, and seminars to enhanceknowledge and skills in career development.
