Junior Performance Tester

Job description

Job Summary

·
Identify Performance, Scalability, Load, Stress and Volume Testing Requirements
for Product/Feature / Project Working Closely with Product Owners and
Development Team

·
Create & Implement Test Strategy for Performance, Scalability, Load, Stress
and Volume Testing

·
Identify the Test Environment, Test Data Requirement and Setup Test Environment

· Work
closely with the Unit Tester to drive and get the Scripts Required for
Performance, Load, and Scalability Testing

·
Identify & Implement Performance Monitoring Tools, Identify Key Metrics
that are needs to be monitored and provided for each Tier of the Applications

·
Accurately analyze performance, Load and scalability test results and Publish
Results and analysis.

·
Should be able to Isolate Performance Bottleneck and identify the Root cause
and Assist Developers in fixing the issue

·
Ensure that performance Scripts are upgraded based on the latest Releases to
product / platform

·
Should ensure the performance, Scalability and Load issues are Identified Early
in the Release by

Mandatory
Skills

(JMeter, Performance Center, Perfmon, Dynatrace, Web
HTTP/HTML and Web services protocol)

·
Experience in using Performance Testing Tools like JMETER.

·
Strong Skills and experience with application performance monitoring tools like
Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics.

·
Strong Skills and experience with data analytics tools like Splunk,
Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana.

·
Experience in AWS or similar cloud technologies and dockers.

·
Experience in Database monitoring and Preparing AWR report.

·
Experience in Leading & Mentoring Small Team

·
Proactive & Dynamic Team player, Self-motivated and believe in doing and
getting things done.

·
Passion to work with sense of urgency

Desired
Skills

·
Experience in Using JMeter, LoadRunner(good to have) tool

·
Experience in Setting up Test Environments, Debugging Environment issues

·
Experience in Identifying H/W and S/W Needs for setting up Test Environment

·
Testing in both Windows and UNIX environments

·
Excellent analytical skills and a flair for problem solving

Knowledge
of sound development practices with exposure to Agile development, release
engineering and continuous integration is a plus.
