Barista

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve drinks to our customers, including coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cafe area and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Manage cash register and process transactions accurately
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience as a Barista or in a related customer service role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic math skills for handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Ability to learn and memorize menu items and ingredients

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with espresso machines and grinders
- Knowledge of coffee preparation methods and ingredients
- Certification as a Barista or in a related field
