  A field electrician in the electric vehicle (EV) industry is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of EV charging stations and related infrastructure. 
• This role involves conducting routine inspections, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards. 
• The electrician must read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams, use electrical testing equipment, and adhere to safety protocols. 
• They provide on-site support and training to customers, respond to service calls, and manage installation projects. 
• Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational training or apprenticeship in electrical work, and a valid journeyman or master electrician certification. 
• Proficiency in electrical systems, familiarity with EV charging technologies, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. 
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, along with a willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
•  Additionally, a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings are necessary.
