Overview: As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing,
and distribution efforts of children's books within a specified geographic region. Your primary
goal will be to maximize revenue and market share while ensuring that the company's products
reach their intended audience effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
o Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the
assigned region.
o Manage a team of sales representatives and distributors, providing guidance,
training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
o Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including bookstores,
Distributors, Whole sellers, School book fair Exhibitors.
2. Marketing and Promotion:
o Collaborate with the marketing team to create regional marketing plans and
promotional campaigns that align with overall company objectives.
o Utilize market research and analysis to identify trends and consumer preferences,
adapting marketing strategies accordingly.
3. Distribution and Logistics:
o Oversee the distribution process within the region, ensuring timely delivery of
products to customers.
o Monitor inventory levels and sales performance, making recommendations for
adjustments as needed.
4. Relationship Management:
o Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows,
networking with stakeholders and promoting company initiatives.
o Act as a brand ambassador, advocating for the company's values and vision within
the children's publishing community.
5. Market Analysis and Reporting:
o Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and
optimization.
o Prepare regular reports for senior management, detailing sales performance,
market share, and competitive analysis.
o Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence to inform
strategic decision-making.
