General Manager - Projects (Civil)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager - Projects (Civil) to lead our real estate project
development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution,
and delivery of civil projects, ensuring timely completion, quality, and budget adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, engineering, and construction.
2. Civil Construction Oversight:
- Supervise and monitor civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety
standards.
- Manage and resolve construction-related issues and defects.
3. Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and coordinators.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
4. Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government authorities.
- Ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
6. Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial plans.
- Identify and mitigate potential cost risks.
7. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify and manage project-related risks.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 10-12 years of experience in civil project management, preferably in real estate development.
3. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale civil projects.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
6. Familiarity with industry-standard project management tools and software.
7. Preferably from Western/North India
