Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook food to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety - Follow recipes and menus, and make adjustments as needed - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including: - Food storage and rotation - Preparation and cooking areas - Dishwashing and sanitizing - Ensure all food is stored, handled, and cooked in accordance with food safety guidelines - Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer requests and resolving issues promptly - Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure efficient service - Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and waste Requirements: - 2+ years of cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment - Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and multitasking skills - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Food safety certification (e.g. ServSafe) preferred Skills: - Cooking techniques and methods - Kitchen operations and management - Food safety and sanitation - Customer service and communication - Teamwork and collaboration
