Job Summary: As a Process Coordinator at Gangaflour Mills, you will be responsible for
overseeing and optimizing the production processes within the milling operations. Your role
involves coordinating various stages of production, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and
implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and output. You will work closely
with different departments to streamline operations and address any issues that arise during the
milling process.
Key Responsibilities:
 Process Management: Monitor and coordinate milling processes to ensure smooth and
efficient operation from start to finish. Implement and follow standard operating
procedures (SOPs) and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and product
quality.
 Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory
requirements. Conduct regular inspections and tests on flour and other products, and take
corrective actions when deviations are found.
 Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the production
process. Work with maintenance and technical teams to address equipment malfunctions
and process inefficiencies.
 Team Coordination: Liaise with production staff, maintenance teams, and other
departments to ensure seamless operation. Provide training and support to staff on
process procedures and best practices.
 Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, process
changes, and quality checks. Prepare reports on production performance, process
improvements, and any issues encountered.
 Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Promote a safe working environment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
 Continuous Improvement: Analyze production metrics and identify areas for
improvement. Propose and implement process enhancements to increase productivity,
reduce waste, and optimize resource use.
Qualifications:
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food
Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training in process management or
quality control are a plus.
 Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in process coordination or a similar role,
preferably within the milling or food production industry.
 Skills:
o Strong understanding of milling processes and equipment.
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Proficiency in using process management and quality control tools.
o Effective communication and teamwork skills.
o Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
 Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with process management software and Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working Conditions:
 Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights,
and work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
