  1. Recruitment and Staffing:

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for the plant, including workforce planning, job postings, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Collaborate with department heads to ensure staffing needs are met with qualified candidates.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Handle employee grievances and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Foster a positive work environment by facilitating open communication between management and staff.
    • Organize employee engagement activities and welfare programs to boost morale.
  3. Compliance and Legal:

    • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, industrial relations regulations, and safety standards.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).
  4. Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate the implementation of training programs.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
  5. Performance Management:

    • Assist in the performance appraisal process, including setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
    • Support employee career development and succession planning initiatives.
  6. Attendance and Payroll:

    • Oversee timekeeping systems to ensure accurate attendance records.
    • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payroll processing.
  7. Health and Safety:

    • Ensure a safe working environment by promoting safety policies and practices.
    • Work with the safety officer to implement and monitor safety standards.
  8. Administrative Functions:

    • Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as documentation, employee files, and correspondence.
    • Assist in facility management and procurement related to employee needs.
  9. Reporting:

    • Prepare and present regular HR reports to senior management, including workforce analysis, attrition rates, and employee engagement metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
