Job Summary:
As an Apparel Store Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving sales, enhancing the customer experience, and maintaining the store’s visual standards. You will assist customers in finding the right products, handle transactions, and ensure that the store operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional service to customers by assisting with product selection, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance their shopping experience and encourage repeat business.
Sales and Upselling:
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets.
- Utilize sales techniques to promote additional products and drive sales.
Store Operations:
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Manage inventory levels, restock merchandise, and conduct regular stock checks.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle transactions, and process returns or exchanges accurately.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the latest fashion trends, new arrivals, and product features.
- Educate customers about products, including materials, care instructions, and styling tips.
Team Collaboration:
- Work effectively with team members to achieve store goals and provide a cohesive shopping experience.
- Assist with training new staff members and sharing best practices.
Sales Reporting:
- Report on daily sales performance, customer feedback, and inventory levels to store management.
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in fashion, retail, or business is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in apparel or fashion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries professionally.
- Basic knowledge of sales principles and retail operations.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a retail environment.
- Familiarity with current fashion trends and apparel merchandising.
