Manager / Sr.Manager - Costing

Job description

a)     Estimate product cost for
existing & new products.

b)     Forecast
and analyze costs of processes, labour and inventory,

c)      Suggest
Cost reducing or profitable solutions.

d)     Monitor
changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall cost

e)     Gather
and analyze financial data to ascertain cost of various products/ products
group.

f)       Determine
standard cost and investigate variance with actual cost.

g)     Prepare
detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc.

h)     Help
Management to make important decisions based on costs and benefits (e.g.
investments, market growth, pricing changes)

i)       Create
and manage budgets, and monitor spending.

j)       Conduct
audits on financial processes and transactions.

k)     Conduct
market research to support future business planning.

l)       Proven
experience in cost ascertainment and analysis.

m)   Experience in
data analysis, both operational and financial.

n)     Knowledge
of Accounting processes and ERP software. Microsoft Navision ERP will be an
added advantage.
