Analyze financial data consistently and present financial reports accurately and timely.
Communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress, changes, and
keep senior leadership informed of financial status.
Assist leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial
plans and compare them to actual results to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
Support the Finance & Accounts head in engaging the board's audit and finance committees
regarding financial operating models and trends.
Oversee all financial, project/program, and grants accounting; ensure expenditures align with grant
and program budgets throughout the grant/fund period. Collate financial reporting materials for
government, corporate, and foundation grants.
Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working with Program Heads; collaborate with
Program Heads to assess the financial efficacy of program operations and establish finance and
administrative systems to support program operations.
Manage and track the performance of invested assets, aligning with policies and investment
guidelines.
Utilize the strengths of finance team members; provide clarity on roles and responsibilities; develop
and implement training programs to maximize their potential and help them reach optimal
individual and organizational goals.
Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the
organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Monitor financial performance and provide strategic guidance to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
