About the Role: 

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Accounts to be a part of the Finance vertical. You will be an
expert in accounting principles for the department and be working alongside the Finance Manager. As a

What will you do

o Ensure end-to-end completion of compliance related to Income Tax, TDS, GST of the company
and its Directors. 

o Resolve tax, accounting & cost related issues, review complete tax forms and provide
recommendations to junior members of the team 

o Prepare invoices for billing various clients, checking the cost & expenses, monitoring the account
payables, annual budget analysis, deviation and MIS report 

o Provide support in managing Bank accounts, mapping accounting process, documentation,
implementation, review and recommending necessary changes for process improvement

 o Create all the ad hoc journal entries related to opex & capex as a part of closing activities 

o Ensure that all the Tax related activities are completed on a monthly basis, along-with transfer
pricing activities

 o Support month-end and year-end close process 

o Manage and comply with local, state, and central government reporting requirements and tax
filings

 o Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department 

What will you need

o Graduate with a minimum experience of five years

 o CA Inter/CMA/MBA is mandatory 

o Proven experience in Accounting

 o Great knowledge of Accounting standards and principles

 o Good analytical, communication, automation/process mindset, with prior experience in
handling 3X+ growth in a year

 o Prior experience in strategy and business roles in startups is a plus.

 o Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 

o Aggressive and interested to work in stealth mode ed-tech start-up where learning is
immense

 o Vision to plan and work on critical deadlines 

o Good systematic approach and analytical thinking mindset; proactive problem solver 

o Strong work ethic and ownership mindset 

o Demonstrate business acumen, with strong organization skills and strategic orientation
