Cluster collection manager

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
 Oversee and manage the collection operations for a cluster of branches
within Ahmedabad.
 Develop strategies to optimize the collection process, reduce delinquency,
and improve recovery rates.
 Lead, mentor, and train collection teams across various branches to meet
their collection targets.
 Monitor and analyze collections data, identify trends, and take corrective
actions where necessary.
 Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in
the collection process.
 Work closely with the legal team for handling recovery cases and legal
escalations.
 Foster positive relationships with customers, resolving disputes and
addressing grievances to ensure smooth collection processes.
 Prepare and present detailed collection reports and performance metrics to
senior management.
 Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize defaults and improve loan
recovery.
Qualifications and Skills:
 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
 Minimum of 5+ years of experience in collections, with at least 2 years in a
managerial role overseeing multiple branches or clusters.
 Strong understanding of loan recovery processes, legal frameworks, and
collection techniques.
 Excellent leadership and team management skills.
 Proven ability to handle complex and escalated collection cases effectively.
 Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
 Proficiency in MS Office and financial software tools.
 Ability to manage large teams across multiple locations and ensure
performance alignment.
