Position- Business development Manager – Warehousing/Fulfilment Services
Position Overview:
As a Business Development Manager specializing in Warehousing Product, you will be responsible
for driving business growth and revenue by identifying, developing, and securing new contract
logistics opportunities. You will leverage your expertise in logistics and supply chain management
to establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, understand their requirements, and
tailor solutions to meet their needs. This role requires strategic thinking, strong communication
skills, and a proactive approach to generating new business.
Responsibilities:

The responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Identify Fulfillment, Warehousing & Contract logistics sales and business opportunities to
acquire new accounts [for Both Ecommerce & Non-Ecommerce].
• Generating Leads & convert them to Business.
• Conduct price negotiations with customers, collaborating with internal stakeholders for
favorable terms.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless Onboarding of business.
• Chart out the strategic vision and execution path for warehousing business for Drona Logitech.
• Manage and grow existing businesses within the market to constantly generate revenue
• Constantly arrange face-to-face meetings with customers to gather information about their
businesses and identify opportunities for solutions.
• Work closely with the solutions team to deliver the best solutions based on the customer’s
portfolio and their needs.
• Communicate client requirements and expectations to operations teams and facilitate effective
collaboration.
• Work on deep selling opportunities to introduce different product offerings of Drona Logitech
and gain incremental businesses.
• Coordinate with the pricing desks to generate new or revised price quotes
• Analyze market data to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
• Stay informed & act about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, conversion
rates, and revenue growth.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing business
development activities, progress against targets, and key performance indicators.
Requirements and skills: -
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a
related field.
• 6-8 Years of success in business development, sales, or account management within the
logistics industry, with a focus on contract logistics.
• In-depth understanding of contract logistics services, including warehousing,
transportation, distribution, and inventory management.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions and influence
decision-making at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present
complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop actionable plans,
and drive results.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects
simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Certification in sales or business development.
