Job Title: Shift Engineer (Electrical Maintenance)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Maintenance) to oversee the maintenance and operation of electrical systems, including transformers, 66 kV substations, and GIS. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable and safe operation of electrical equipment while leading a team of technicians during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for 66 kV transformers, substations, and GIS.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in high-voltage equipment and systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment status, and incidents.
• Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in electrical maintenance practices and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards in all maintenance operations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide support during outages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, particularly with 66 kV systems, transformers, and GIS.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical systems and safety practices.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
