As a Shift Engineer, you will oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within the 66kV substations and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). You will ensure optimal performance and reliability of electrical equipment while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.

 **Key Responsibilities:

**

- Monitor and control operations of transformers and associated equipment in 66kV substations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and GIS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and execute maintenance activities.
- Document operational data, maintenance activities, and incidents accurately.
- Assist in the implementation of safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Participate in emergency response and contingency planning.

 **Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

- Strong knowledge of transformer operation and maintenance.
