Job Profile :- Merchandiser

Role Summary

This is a mid-level merchandising role (2–3 years experience) focused on:

1. Supporting end-to-end merchandising
2. Handling production follow-ups
3. Managing vendor coordination
4. Creating and maintaining Excel-based reports & dashboards

Compared to the earlier JD, this version is more operations + data-driven focused.

Core Responsibilities

Production & Order Management

1. Assist in sampling, order execution & production tracking
2. Follow up with vendors for timely delivery
3. Coordinate with internal teams for smooth workflow

Reporting & Data Handling

1. Maintain order trackers & documentation
2. Prepare MIS reports
3. Use Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
4. Create dashboards for monitoring

Costing & Quality Support

1. Assist in cost analysis & negotiations
2. Support quality checks
3. Ensure compliance with company & client standards

Communication

1. Provide regular updates to management
2. Highlight risks and delays proactively
